Cross-cultural melange


Boneless chicken thighs, sautéed in an olive oil, fresh sage, shallots, sake, mustard, honey, sea salt and chili powder reduction.

Fresh carrots, roasted with olive oil, sea salt, shallots, raisins & cumin

Syracuse salt potatoes: boiled in highly salted water (they become creamy inside!) Then tossed in a garlic/sage butter sauce.

Cross-cultural melange: duet (Ms Q made the carrots & potatoes, husband handled the chicken). Dinner was highly flavored, but the muscled cabernet sauvignon was up for the task!
