A stellar Risotto prepared by my husband with prawns & calamari, bottarga, parsley, saffron, chili, garlic, onion and vegetable broth. A perfect accompaniment to a friend's generous gift - a crisp bottle of Chablis.

Fly Cocktail: After Dinner Duo

Ms Q was feelin' fancy, so created this after dinner duo: dark rum with raisins, fresh apple/ginger/brown sugar/cinnamon jus. Served with cantuccini biscotti (italian almond cookies) perfect for dipping!

Fly Appetizer: Arugula & Spicy Chorizo

Arugula wrapped with spicy chorizo then toothpicked together with toasted fresh whole wheat bread dressed with a bit of garlic & olive oil. This began as bruschetta (Ms Q tip for non-italian speakers: the "ch" in italian is always hard, sounds like "bruscKetta"), but husband switched it up.
